Haunted Reels — slot review and demo

Neon party on the graveyard in Haunted Reels

BGaming released the Haunted Reels slot on 15 October 2024 — a game with a Halloween theme, but without dark gothic vibes. Here spectral symbols glow with neon, and a skeleton host throws a party among the gravestones. The slot is built on 5 reels with above-average volatility and 97% RTP. Minimum bet is 0.2, maximum is 50, and the maximum win reaches ×5000 the bet.

Mechanics with Wild multipliers and bonus coffins

In the base game, Wild ghosts with random multipliers ×2, ×3, ×5 or ×10 appear on the reels. They substitute for any symbols except Scatter pumpkins. Three, four or five pumpkins trigger a bonus round with 5, 7 or 10 free spins. Before the start, the game randomly selects a symbol that will take part in the round. On the bonus reels, coffins spin: they can open and reveal the selected symbol (it becomes sticky), additional spins or a multiplier. If you collect 5 multipliers, the skeleton comes alive — absorbs them and randomly distributes them across the field before the final payout calculation.

Bonus buy in three variants

The Buy Bonus feature allows you to buy a bonus round in one of three modes. Green — with low volatility, red — with medium volatility (only high-paying symbols participate), purple — with very high volatility and the same top symbols. In the purple version, the skeleton releases the collected multipliers onto the reels twice — instead of 5, there will be 10 on the field. The purchase price depends on the bet size.
