Wanted Dead or a Wild — slot review and demo

DuelReels™ mechanics and duel symbols

The slot's main feature is the signature DuelReels™ mechanic, which first appeared in Wanted Dead or a Wild. When VS symbols land on the reels, they expand into full wild reels if they form part of a winning combination. A duel between two bandits unfolds on screen, and the winner's multiplier is applied to the entire reel. If multiple wild reels participate in one payline, their multipliers are added together and multiply the win.

Three bonus rounds: train, dawn and dead man's hand

The slot offers three bonus games. The Great Train Robbery is a train heist where all wild symbols that land become sticky and remain on screen until the end of the round. Duel at Dawn is a showdown at sunrise with an increased probability of VS symbols landing: up to five expanded DuelReels™ can appear on screen simultaneously. Dead Man's Hand is a two-phase mode where you first collect wild symbols and multipliers, then all accumulated wilds are added to random positions in each spin of the final Showdown phase. All three bonuses can be purchased directly via the Bonus Buy feature.

RTP, volatility and bets

The slot's RTP is 96.38% (versions with 94.55%, 92.33% and 88.42% are also available — check with your operator). Volatility is above average (4 out of 5 on the provider's scale), suited to players prepared for rare but significant payouts. The grid is 5 reels by 5 rows with 15 paylines. Bets range from 0.2 to 100, with a maximum win reaching x12500 the bet.
