Power of Thor Megaways — slot review and demo

Megaways mechanics and symbols in Power of Thor

The slot is built on six reels with Megaways mechanics, which provides up to 117,649 ways to form a combination. Thor's Hammer appears horizontally in the top row and turns all symbols below it into Wilds. Scatter symbols form the word THOR—if you manage to collect the god's name in full, a free spins round is activated. In the bonus game, a progressive multiplier is in play: with each cascade it increases, multiplying the win.

RTP 96.55% and bet characteristics

The slot's RTP is 96.55%, which is above industry average. The minimum bet starts from 0.2, maximum is 100. The provider does not specify exact volatility in the description, but the presence of a progressive multiplier in free spins and a wide Megaways range suggests medium or high variance. Detailed payout parameters can be found in the paytable inside the game.

Scandinavian mythology theme

The slot uses the image of Thor—the Scandinavian god of thunder. The hammer as the central symbol of the mechanics, Scatter letters of the name, and the aesthetic of a mythological plot create a recognisable atmosphere. Pragmatic Play has released several themed slots referencing Norse legends; all Pragmatic Play slots are available in the site catalogue.
