Gladiators — slot review and demo

Fish gladiators and Ancient Roman tournaments

The Gladiators slot transports the classic story of arena fighters into an underwater world: instead of humans, fish gladiators armed with swords and shields battle here. Endorphina has built the game on 5 reels, 3 rows and 21 paylines, turning a historical spectacle into a bright video slot with recognisable graphics. Symbols include fish on seahorses (the top symbol, five matching ones pay ×100 the bet), a fish with sword and shield (×48 for a combination of five), as well as a Wild in the form of a wreath with a joker.

Free spins with sticky wreaths and doubled wins

Three or more Scatter symbols anywhere on the screen trigger free spins: 3 Scatters — 10 free spins, 4 — 20, 5 — 50. After each spin, the winning team is determined by the number of matching gladiators on the reels; if there are equal numbers, priority is given to a pre-set order. Each gladiator from the winning team receives a laurel wreath, which remains in place on the next spin and becomes a Wild. The wreath disappears if a gladiator does not land on its position in the next spin. All wins in free spins are doubled, and the feature itself can be retriggered during the bonus round. The slot also offers a classic gamble feature and Bonus Pop — but availability of the latter depends on jurisdiction.

RTP 94.76% and high volatility: risk and bets

The stated RTP is 94.76% — below the industry average, which combined with high volatility means rare but potentially large payouts. The bet range is from 0.01 to 5 per spin (currency depends on the operator). These parameters make Gladiators a slot for players ready for long sessions without frequent wins while waiting for the bonus round. The provider states that the game is available only in approved jurisdictions with certification and responsible gaming requirements — this applies to many countries in Europe, Africa and other regions where Endorphina holds licences.
