Gift of Midas — slot review and demo

The story of King Midas's golden touch

The slot tells the story of King Midas, whose wish to turn everything into gold became a curse—even food and loved ones turned into precious metal. In Gift of Midas, only your wins will turn golden: temples, chalices, open chests, and token symbols appear on the reels, covering other icons on the screen.

Mechanics with tokens, wilds, and three types of free spins

The golden temple acts as a wild, substitutes for other symbols, and pays 500x your bet for five on a payline. Token symbols cover other icons—when a token leaves the reels, it may reveal a symbol underneath that completes a winning combination. The open chest is the highest-paying regular symbol, also paying 500x for five. The slot features three variants of free spins (Free Games), and the Bonus Pop function lets you buy access to the bonus round at any time. After a win, you can try to double the amount in the gamble feature: if your card beats the dealer's card, the amount increases, up to ten times in a row.

96.06% RTP, high volatility, and bets up to 40 units

The RTP is 96.06%, volatility is high—wins occur less frequently, but amounts can be larger. The bet range starts from 0.1 and goes up to 40 units per spin. There are five reels and ten fixed paylines.

Demo version without registration

Before playing for real money, try the slot in demo mode right on this page—the "Play Demo" button is above the review. The game runs on virtual credits, with no deposit or registration required. This is a convenient way to learn how tokens work, test the gamble feature, and see if this high volatility suits you. In Latvia, demo versions are freely available, but real-money bets are only permitted with operators licensed by the State Revenue Service. Other Endorphina slots can also be launched for free to compare mechanics and choose a suitable game. You can compare platform conditions in the online casino rating.
